Margaret knew she was having her birthday party Saturday and that the theme was "Fetch with Ruff Ruffman" - her favorite show. What she didn't know was what time the party was or what exactly we were doing. She came home at 8:30am from spending the night with Michaela and she was surprised to find out that her party was starting. We got in the van and headed out to pick up 3 other friends still in their pajamas for their "show audition". Then back home for a chocolate chip pancake birthday cake and a breakfast of pancakes, bacon and OJ in the Fetch "green room" (our kitchen).

Next, it was time to head into "Studio G" (our garage) to start our game. The challenge - solve the case of the missing birthday present. The contestants worked as a team to solve clues around the house. They also had a challenge to build a structure that would hold a bucket of sand using dowel rods, popsicle sticks, cardboard, tape, and a frisbee. Here was the more successful design:

This group's design had a few problems:

Each of the clues also contained a puzzle piece that helped solve the mystery of the missing present.

It turns out Sandy stole Margaret's present - brand new waterskis. She was dreaming of being a waterskiing dog and hid them by her bed.

Happy Birthday Margaret - Another successful party complete!
